CrescENDO v1.0 was developed from sc(n)RNA-seq studies of healthy and injured mouse and human hearts published between 2018 and 2021 as a coronary endothelial cell meta-atlas .
Datasets and corresponding metadata (repository, accession number, species, age, health condition, cell source) from single cell RNA-sequencing studies of mouse and human cardiac cells published between 2018 - 2021 were curated from public transcriptomic data repositories Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO), Array Express and Sequence Read Archive (SRA) database.
Choose the species and available datasets from the sidebar on the Home tab and launch the app by clicking the "Launch" button. A selection box will appear on the main panel called "View multiple genes of interest". It allows visualisation of the expression of multiple genes you choose for the specific datasets you choose in the format of dot plot. "Reset" button resets all inputs from you to allow new inputs to be entered.
The CrescENDO application was developed as a human and mouse coronary endothelial cell meta-atlas as a valuable public resource to empower future in-depth research to deepen our understanding of the mechanisms associated with cardiac regeneration and drive novel clinically relevant strategies to target pathways associated with coronary neovascularisation.
This application may be used for educational and research purpose only.
The CrescENDO application was developed using data from single cell RNA-seq studies of mouse and human heart published between 2018 and 2020, including 12,231 mouse and 2,251 human coronary endothelial cells. Dimensionality reduction and unsupervised clustering were performed to investigate heterogeneity of endothelials cells and differentially expressed gene anlaysis was carried out to identify novel targets associated with vascular responses especially regenerative responses post ischaemic injuries in the heart. Use of the CrescENDO app ('the web app') constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the web app. This is a beta version of the web app, which is still undergoing testing before its official release. The web app, its software and all content found on it are provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. The web app is to be used to help researchers gain deeper understanding of the vascular responses post ischaemic heart injuries especially myocardial infarction.
